Shop the Alzheimer's Foundation eStore

I know it saddens you to know when your friend or loved one is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. This disease is really prone on old people and we can’t really avoid it, BUT there are medicines that can help reduce the symptoms of the disease.

Before we’ll go to that topic, let me give you an excerpt (from wikipedia) about what Alzheimer's disease is - Alzheimer's disease is characterized by progressive cognitive deterioration, together with declining activities of daily living and by neuropsychiatric symptoms or behavioral changes. Although the ultimate cause of this disease is unknown, the scientists are constantly developing a cure.

Did you know that here in the States, there is a foundation catered for people who have Alzheimer's disease? Yeah that’s right, it’s called Alzheimer's Foundation of America. This foundation is helping thousands of members to ensure that they get proper medical attention. This website also posted information and awareness about the disease to help the family member understand the situation. I mean, this is a long term treatment, it would even be permanent.

The website has an e-store that you can purchase products, this is in time for holiday gift. The proceeds from the sale of these products will support the programs and services of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America and its member organizations. Ensuring the quality of care for those who suffer from the disease is the main goal of the foundation.

The Foundation also aims to raise awareness and enhance knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease as well as its related illnesses. This is really a good idea, I mean if we can buy something that is not really important; how more on things that we can use and we can even help.

A month ago, there was breast cancer awareness and I was so happy that I was part of it. Even with my own little ways I was able to reach out and give my part. Try checking the Foundation’s website now and don’t forget to drop by at their e-store.
