Depp At His Best: Sweeney Todd in Theaters December 21st

I watched the thriller of Johnny Deep's new movie Sweeney Todd and it's pretty impressive as usual. He's really a good actor. I remember how he perfectly portray as Capt. Jack Sparrow on his "Pirates of the Caribbean". The "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," for me is the most visually spectacular and action-packed movie so I know that Sweeney Todd will be as entertaining as what Johnny Depp's previous movie is.

To give you a glimpse of what the movie is all about, here's an excerpt of the plot of the movie (from Wikipedia):

Sweeney Todd returns (Johnny Deep) to London after escaping the life imprisonment of Benjamin Barker, only to find his wife Lucy (Laura Michelle Kelly) and daughter Johanna (Jayne Wisener) have suffered at the hands of the very man who had imprisoned him, Judge Turpin (Alan Rickman). With the assistance of his former landlady, Mrs. Nellie Lovett (Helena Bonham Carter), Sweeney launches a plan for revenge that initially targets the individuals responsible for his imprisonment, but ultimately draws all of society in his sights.

Sweeney Todd is originally an award winning musical thriller by Stephen Sondheim. It earned its credits and popularity for sometimes now and I'm really happy that they adapted it to the big screen. This is a perfect movie treat this coming holiday season, what do you think?

You can visit the official Sweeney Todd movie site to read and watch thriller or visit Sweeney Todd on MySpace.
