- What a day in the McCown family. As Josh McCown guided the Oakland Raiders to their second straight victory, a 34-20 win over the Denver Broncos, younger brother Luke was involved in a back-and-forth battle with the New Orleans Saints. Luke, who made a few crucial mistakes – including a pick-six in the third quarter – capped an eight-play drive with a four-yard scoring pass to Jerramy Stevens with 14 seconds left during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 27-23 victory. Tampa Bay now is three games up on the Saints and Panthers.
- Dick Jauron will not win coach of the year honors, but has anyone won more with less this season? The Buffalo Bills have overcome tragedy, injuries and instability at quarterback and are still in the playoff mix – in the AFC.

WOW..they're paid GOOD
Penn State coach Joe Paterno's salary -- more than $500,000 -- finally revealed
Joe Paterno's salary is no longer one of the most closely guarded secrets in college sports. The Penn State coach will earn more than $500,000 this year.
The State Employees' Retirement System released Paterno's salary Thursday, more than a week after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that his salary and those of other top Penn State officials are public information.
Paterno was paid $427,220 in the first 10 months of 2007 -- putting his year-end salary on track to be $512,664. He was paid $490,638 last year, according to the retirement system.
"I'm paid well. I'm not overpaid," Paterno said earlier in the day, during an interview with reporters about his upcoming College Football Hall of Fame induction. "I got all the money I need."
But it's not even close to what some other big-name coaches are making. Alabama's Nick Saban is the highest paid coach at $4 million per year, while Oklahoma's Bob Stoops makes over $3 million. Ohio State's Jim Tressel, Florida's Urban Meyer and South Carolina's Steve Spurrier make upward of $2 million annually.

I'm one of the NFL fan so I read this..
32 Questions: Tuned out
I'm not one to get overly worked up about suit-on-suit standoffs like the one between the NFL Network and the big cable companies, most notably Time/Warner and Comcast. It's rich people battling over fat stacks of cash, and eventually they'll come to a business arrangement that stops shafting the consumer and entices him/her to pay more for the product.
Until then, if people like Cowboys owner Jerry Jones want to talk smack and tell people to gobble up satellite dishes, well, bless him, it's a free country.
But there is one thing that bugs me about the notion that cable-wired households in large parts of America – and, specifically, in significant portions of Texas and Wisconsin – won't be receiving the feed of Thursday's compelling clash for NFC supremacy between the 10-1 Dallas Cowboys and the 10-1 Green Bay Packers.
To put it bluntly, it's a capital crime.

Boston Red Sox Spring Training
I never thought that I would like other sports game than basketball. Well, what can I do, way back in my country, only the basketball game is televised. That's why when I got here in the States, baseball and football is not appealing.
As times go by and by watching the televised game every weekend, I begun to like both baseball and football. Did you know that Boston Red Sox bags the championship award recently? It's amazing how they played and conquered.
Anyway, if you want to see them play the game Red Sox Spring Training tickets are already available for you to book. I know that Boston Red Sox Spring Training Schedule is mostly awaited that's why get a ticket ahead of time to be sure that you have a seat when the time comes.

Vick to spend Thanksgiving holiday in rural Virginia jail
I was able to follow the story of Michael Vick, and it saddens me that he spend his Thanksgiving in the jail. Although he wouldn't be earning that if he did not violated anything.
He was a bit 'cruel' to animals. For everyone who didn't know what happened, Michael Vick was engage in Dog Fighting and here in the States its a big NO NO to practice on those inhuman act. Dogs or animals are well protected here and it's a good move and rules from the government.
In the news:
The Northern Neck Regional Jail doesn't have the comforts of Michael Vick's Georgia mansion, but at least the disgraced quarterback will get to enjoy a hot turkey dinner this Thanksgiving. And, perhaps, a non-contact visit with a loved one.
Vick unexpectedly turned himself in Monday and will be housed at the jail until his sentencing on a federal dogfighting charge in three weeks. He faces up to five years in prison.
Jail officials wouldn't discuss their new celebrity inmate, but a peek inside the facility provided a glimpse of what life for the Atlanta Falcons quarterback will be like in the coming days. And it's not exactly festive.
The jail houses inmates charged with offenses from misdemeanors to murder. About 40 of the approximately 425 current inmates are women, who are housed separately. Some inmates are confined to small cells, while others are housed in dorms.

Lions turn into Lambs
We had a good NFL game today, we watched it and we've seen how the Packers crushed the Lions.
Brett Favre sported a white T-shirt, carpenter's pants and a scruffy beard.
It was the only time he looked like just another guy on Thanksgiving.
Favre set a Green Bay record with 20 consecutive completions and finished with a season-high 381 yards and three touchdowns in the Packers' 37-26 victory over the slumping Detroit Lions.
"I threw it. They caught it," he said simply. "Nothing spectacular."
Yeah, right.
The three-time MVP put together another sensational performance that made the 38-year-old quarterback look as if he's back in his prime. Favre's seventh 300-yard game of the season matched a team mark he set in 1995.
"He's the greatest ever," Lions quarterback Jon Kitna said.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
Happy (advance) Thanksgiving everyone!!
Whew, I can't wait for the game tomorrow. USC is playing against Arizona State, my heart belongs to USC. I fall in love with them the first time I saw them playing.
It's not because they started as number 1 but because they're an expert on what they're doing. Though they lost 2 of their previous games, I still am an avid fan of the USC (University of Southern California) team.
Good luck for tomorrow's game Trojan's, bring home the victory!!!
